Artillery units of the Western Military District in the Kupyansk direction continue to carry out fire missions to destroy artillery batteries of the Ukrainian Forces, their ammunition depots, camouflaged defensive structures, and military equipment, using frequent tactics changing firing positions.

Multiple rocket artillery is also used for barrage fire on routes of possible enemy retreat or advance. The shock wave and fragments, which fly hundreds of metres, destroy identified firing positions and fortifications. Precise guidance plays an important role in delivering a strike. The artillerymen of the Western Military District are assisted in this by crews of unmanned aerial vehicles. The collected data is promptly transmitted to field headquarters and commanders of rocket artillery batteries.
