Test Kits Will Be Available Next Month to Measure Plasmid DNA in Patients

Kevin McKernan: "What's the call to action? We've put these primer sequences public, anyone can download them. Anyone can replicate this. If you're not comfortable doing that, we're making some kits to enable this for pathologists. We've been asked for these from blood banks, sperm banks, fertility clinics, people interested in breast milk, transplant organs and biopsies. So there should be about 5,000 of these tests ready in late November. This is a time for us now to get CLIA labs going and to get IRBs in place so we can begin to measure this in patients that have been injured."
