How Socialism Enslaved Portugal in less than 10 years

Each Portuguese, including kids and old people, pays 12 thousand euros in taxes, per year. Making a 60% increase of State revenues. For what? No housing, corrupted education system, no safety on the streets, dismantling of borders' police, inflation, absurd increase of crime, what else?
