Ladies of Another View-10.24.2023

NDGOP Chairwoman, Sandra Sanford, joins the Ladies to talk about what she sees for the Republicans in North Dakota. She acknowledges the difference and wants to see the party come together. She addresses the misinformation that a Fargo blogger puts out and the Fargo Forum prints on the front page as "truth" without any sources.

We discussed the party platform and why the Code of Conduct was removed. We started the discussion by questioning why former NDGOP Chairman, Perrie Schafer, placed it in there in the first place. People were supposed to report directly to Shafer or the Executive Director if they saw any misconduct. Sanford expressed how the Chairpersons are all adults elected in their districts and don't need to be treated like Junior High children. The Chairs answer to their constituents at the ballot box.

Sanford introduced the new Executive Director for North Dakota, David Roetman. Dave is from South Dakota and brings experience to the table and has a long history of fundraising and membership in the Republican Party.

Derek Gilbert, author, TV host and podcaster, is coming to the Pitchfork and Hoe event in Valley City, ND, October 27-28, 2023. He does a weekly podcast and radio show along with a daily news spot called "Five in Ten." He covers the top five stories of the day with a Christian biblical perspective.

We talked about manners and morals in the Lighter Side. We showed a video of Japanese children learning how to use their manners on public transportation by giving up their seats to the elderly, pregnant women, injured and ladies. We talked about how eating habits have also gone by the wayside.
