2023_10_22_AM_Don't Worry .. You can be Made Worthy Through Christ

.. If you trust God's plan, the Power of the Blood of Christ, and the Guidance of the Holy Spirit. You don't have to be worthy to begin with: Follow, Trust, Obey, and become a worthy and useful disciple.

It requires the COURAGE demonstrated by Pastor Mike and Anita today, as they shared 'uncomfortable' recollections of their conviction and conversions.

Several verses are quoted by Pastor Mike and Anita:

1 Thessalonians 4:1-18; Romans 3:23; Mathew 8:8; and Luke 15:7 supported both messages, which merged to a common theme.

But the centerpiece is Romans 5:8
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS, CHRIST DIED FOR US."

We come to Christ with all of our imperfections, and are TRAINED to live in His world.

Anita was moved to tears (tissue in hand) as she recalled friend and mentor DeWayne Treece of the gospel group 'Cedar Ridge': who had one of the best renditions of "How Great thou Art", and who recently went to be with the LORD.

Lay your past at the foot of the Cross, and be 'Born Again'.
