Obelisks for Native Americans

A quick look at the Native Americans from the East Coast reveals that they are Caucasoid. DNA tests prove this out. The portraits of these past chiefs also vary and some of the more modern sketches do not reveal the true image of these ancient people. An obelisk was placed at the grave of Chief Cornstalk. Why would this have been done?

The older portraits of the Native Americans that were made when they were alive are more accurate. Look at their image and then look at later portraits and see how their image was changed to make them more Asian looking after they were dead.

Note: It appears that Senaca Chief Cornplanter is getting confused with Shawnee Chief Cornstalk.
