Winnebago Micro Minnie 2108DS FLX Modification - Storage Compartment Cooling

In today's modification video, I'll be showing you a simple modification I've made to our Winnebago Micro Minnie 2108ds FLX.

The front storage compartment of this model houses the solar controller along with the Lithonics 320ah battery as well as the Xantrex 3000 watt inverter.

When everything is in the on mode, it tends to get hot up there, particularly in the summer time. I decided to install a thermostat controlled exhaust fan on the unit in an attempt to automate the cooling

I cross vented the entire storage compartment with a passive vent on one side and a 12v dc powered fan on the other side. It's really made a difference in keeping the front storage compartment cool.
