Colossians 1:16 16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.

Psalm 8:1-4 8 O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory above the heavens. 2 Out of the mouth of babies and infants,
you have established strength because of your foes,
to still the enemy and the avenger. 3 When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, 4 what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?

John 1:14 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Hebrews 2:10 10 For it was fitting that he, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation perfect through suffering.

1. It is not about you

Job 12:10 10 In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind.

Romans 8:6 6 For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.

1 Corinthians 2:9 9 But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”—

2. Your purpose comes through Jesus

Matthew 16:25 25 For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

Psalm 139:15-16 15 My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in
secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.

3. You are not an accident

Isaiah 44:2 2 Thus says the Lord who made you, who formed you from the womb and will help you: Fear not, O Jacob my servant, Jeshurun whom I have chosen.

1 Corinthians 2:7 7 But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory.

Ephesians 1:11 11 In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,
