Lynbrook Fire Dept. Annual Department Memorial Service & Breakfast, Oct. 15th, 2023

On Sunday, October 15, 2023, the members of the Lynbrook Fire Department held their Annual Memorial Service at the Firefighters Memorial on Sunrise Highway. The Firefighters gather each year to remember six volunteer firefighters who died in the line of duty. The department also remembered five members who passed this year. The memorial breakfast featured a guest speaker, FDNY Battalion Chief Edward Ryan, a former member and Ex-Captain of Tally-Ho Engine 3, who spoke about the dangers of fighting lithium battery fires.
