My first handgun, Colt King Cobra

When I turned 21 I got my first handgun, a Colt King Cobra around 1993. Back then 9mm's were seen as not reliable or effective. The .357 revolvers were popular in Texas and with law enforcement for stopping power over higher capacity. Times have changed as ammo quality has gotten better, along with better manufacturing machines and more reliable semi-autos.
