Sanderlings Are Funny Little Birds

Sanderlings are funny little birds. They come to Florida every winter and sometimes are seen on the shoreline in large groups, but sometimes you see them all by themselves. The ones I see alone seem to be very protective of their territory. This video shows a little tiff between two Sanderlings from neighboring territories. Both little guys are sharing their space with three other birds a Willet, a Gray Plover, and a Ruddy Turnstone.
