Apple announces the iPhone 5

I remember watching the keynote and having my hopes up for a bigger phone. By this time, Android phones had screens that absolutely dwarfed the iPhone. The rumor was Apple was going to finally make the iPhone with a bigger screen. I was disappointed when it was revealed that Apple's idea of making the screen bigger was to simply make it a bit taller. However, I bought the iPhone 5 because it had 4G LTE and it was available for Sprint. I mainly bought it to go back to Sprint and enjoy 4G with an unlimited data plan. I never went back to ATT after that.

I bought an iPhone 5 in September of 2012. This was also the first iPhone with the Lightning port which was so much better than the 30-pin connector. This was also the first iPhone I ever bought that was not introduced by Steve Jobs. R.I.P.
