Started in 2019 and finally finished in 2022, Green Jerry's "The Quest For The Candies" is a Halloween themed romhack about Dry Bowser, instead of trying to get his original body and form back, steals all the candy in the Mushroom Kingdom, preventing everyone from celebrating Halloween. Yes, apparently you can only celebrate the holiday by Trick or Treating and the costumes and horror movie nights are not nearly as important. Now, it's up to Mario to find all the candy and make sure Bowser stays dead this time!

World 1 is the Pumpkin Fields, where we learn that Friday The 13th is apparently the favorite movie of all of Dry Bowser's troops, since we're fighting Goombas dressed up as Jason. The "Pumpkin" part of the fields are the Piranha Plants that have become pumpkins. Hopefully Mario can brave these new perils as well as the BONESAAAAAWS (They're ready) for the start of his spooky quest!
