Samsung SmartThings Beta Web Portal Now Available!

In case you haven’t heard, Samsung SmartThings has just released a Beta version of its new beta web portal. And I must tell you that although the beta version of the web portal does not currently have all the functionality that is available through the Android and iOS mobile apps, I find this new web-based dashboard impressive in its current level of detail and, more importantly, the speed in which it executes commands to my smart devices. The changes being incorporated in this new SmartThings dashboard will pave the way to more locally controlled devices and automations. Less execution in the cloud will result in faster and more reliable automations. This new web interface will replace the current SmartThings IDE.
