Porsche Hypercar v Red Bull Rallycross: DRAG RACE

It’s time for the almighty Porsche 918 Spyder to face off against a Red Bull WRX Rallycross car!

Let’s see how these two mighty machines compare. Starting with the Porsche, it’s powered by a 4.6-litre naturally-aspirated V8, coupled with two electric motors, which combined produce an incredible 887hp and 1,280Nm of torque! It’s relatively heavy though, tipping the scales at 1,674kg, and if you’re looking to pick up one of these in 2023, it’ll set you back a cool £1,300,000!!

Then we have the WRX rallycross car. It’s based on a Peugeot 208 rally car, and it’s powered by a 2-litre turbocharged engine that can produce 620hp. And as you’d expect, all this power is sent to all four wheels.

So the WRX will be lightning-fast off the line, but will it be able to take down the 918 over the quarter-mile? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!
