Quagga Mussels in the Snake River: What You Need to Know

The Snake River has been partially shut down for treatment to kill the invasive Quagga Mussel. But treatment was completed on October 13th, and officials are now starting post-treatment surveys to assess its effectiveness.
Observations done last week during the treatment showed that the treatment is going according to plan. However, the entire Snake River may take a couple years to reopen fully.
