Started in 2019 and finally finished in 2022, Green Jerry's "The Quest For The Candies" is a Halloween themed romhack about Dry Bowser, instead of trying to get his original body and form back, steals all the candy in the Mushroom Kingdom, preventing everyone from celebrating Halloween. Yes, apparently you can only celebrate the holiday by Trick or Treating and the costumes and horror movie nights are not nearly as important. Now, it's up to Mario to find all the candy and make sure Bowser stays dead this time!

We enter the Forbidden Forest, where we luckily don't run into any witches or wizards from Hogwart's! However, we instead encounter more terrifying trials for Mario, like the RETURN of the killer Mushrooms from Kola Kingdom Quest. To make matters worse, we face the most horrifying obstacle so far, AN AUTOSCROLLER!! Will Mario be able to brave the woods and make it out of there in one piece?
