High state awards were presented to servicemen of the assault detachment of the motorised rifle formation

Six servicemen from the assault detachment of the motorised rifle formation of the Central Military District, while carrying out the task of strengthening the unit defending the position in the Krasny Liman direction, defeated a unit of Ukrainian militants that was superior in number. The stormtroopers carried out a combat mission to get to motorised rifle positions under enemy fire and deliver ammunition and anti-tank weapons. While carrying out the task, the attack aircraft came across an outnumbered unit of Ukrainians defending a strong point.

At the command of the senior group, with the call sign Kamaz, the Russian military personnel dispersed and took up defensive positions. The enemy was asked to surrender. After the Ukrainian fighters refused to surrender, Russian attack aircraft opened fire. By competently using the available weapons and making movements, Russian military personnel forced the enemy to believe in their superiority and destroyed most of the militants. Five militants were captured and taken to the positions of their detachment. For the courage and heroism shown during the execution of the combat mission, the destruction of superior enemy forces and the capture of the strong point, the group commander was awarded the 'Order of Courage' and the rest of the stormtrooper heroes with medals 'For Courage'. The district command state awards were presented to military personnel on the front line in the presence of comrades.
