his Podcast explore the therapeutic mushroom Cordyceps sinensis.
Cordyceps is a genus of some unique species of fungi which includes two species: Cordyceps sinensis (Ophiocordyceps sinensis) and Cordyceps militaris which are primarily used in traditional Asian medicine.
In the past these mushrooms compounds were quite expensive remedies due to their considerable therapeutic properties combined with the limited possibilities of supply from distant habitats in the high mountain areas of Asia and Himalayas.
