FROM THE ARCHIVES: Slayer's Tom Araya (2003) interview with Darren Paltrowitz

Even if Slayer's farewell tour wrapped in 2019, Slayer remains one of the all-time essential metal bands in 2020, and that is not likely to change anytime soon. In 2003 -- while still a student at Hofstra University -- I had the pleasure of interviewing Slayer bassist/vocalist Tom Araya via phone about the "War At The Warfield" DVD, 2001's "God Hates Us All" album, then-upcoming plans, being covered by other artists, off-stage living and more.
