Learning to speak descriptively by adding imagery will enhance your effectiveness as a communicator. One way is to describe the visual aspects in your stories. If you take the time to paint a picture and personify something that you saw, it will convey the experience of said thing in the listeners mind, as opposed to just stating what you saw as a matter of fact, and leaving it at that.
