When does the real work start? After the shot, as every big game hunter knows.

This video tracks the progress as my wife and our oldest grandson prepare for and then field-dress a moose.

Made in 1984, this Bombardier Bombi - passed down to me by my father - has been a restoration project for myself and my oldest grandson. Nearly completed its upgrades (Holley EFI yet to come), it was time to take it out on the trapline and give it a test.

Owing to a recent injury, I had to remain in camp and was not able to accompany my grandson on this trip, but he sure had fun, as you will see. That included getting high-centered on a log and working his way out of that fix. It's a good thing the Bombi has a winch that can be attached to either the front or the back.
