Drag n Drive Pinto: V8 & SROD Swap 8 #nonamenationals

In this series I finally swap the 2.3L 4 cylinder engine out for the Mercruiser 188 / 302 V8. The 1973 Mercruiser 188 will be mated up with an SROD 3 speed with overdrive from a 1979 Ford Fairmont Futura. Combined with the 8.7 rear axle from a 1977 Ford Granada with 2.47 gears, it will be a highway machine. Not the best for drag racing, but hey it was cheap and bolted right in.
