Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses the huge ass-kicking that New York City took recently in the matter of Srour v. New York City. This case, which started as a challenge to NYC's "good moral character" requirements in order to obtain a concealed carry license. But during the course of this litigation, the Supreme Court handed down its Bruen decision so that resolved the matter, right? Wrong, instead New York City just passed the same unconstitutional laws but used different words. So what did Srour do? Amend the complaint and then get an injunction granted by the US District Court in Southern District of New York.
