Started in 2019 and finally finished in 2022, Green Jerry's "The Quest For The Candies" is a Halloween themed romhack about Dry Bowser, instead of trying to get his original body and form back, steals all the candy in the Mushroom Kingdom, preventing everyone from celebrating Halloween. Yes, apparently you can only celebrate the holiday by Trick or Treating and the costumes and horror movie nights are not nearly as important. Now, it's up to Mario to find all the candy and make sure Bowser stays dead this time!

We venture deep into the Abandoned Mines, only to find some angered spirits that are like Boos but less shy and more dangerous. We encounter a Boo Line that will chase us down and a Boo that can spit fire at us! Afterwards, we have a rematch with those killer shrooms... Good. Fucking. Lord. After that 3rd level, I'll never again complain about Poison Mushrooms again...

By the way, the 1st Pipe that the secret stage leads to takes you back to the Forbidden Woods.
