There appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed in the sun with the moon under her feet & a crown with twelve stars, she also was ready to give birth to a child. In this video we will look at this symbolic image of Israel who gave birth to Christ Jesus & Christianity. Israel has often been depicted as an adulterous woman who cheated on her husband often. Though God & Israel divorced because of her infidelity God kept calling her back to Himself & for her to forget her other lovers. We see this call for His beloved Israel to return bare fruit in the birth of His Son Jesus. This theme is played out to its finish in Revelation 12.
