Hidden Hot Tubs - Abandoned Green River Gorge Resort

In search of the hidden hot tubs - John Rudge, a Welsh coal miner, along with his wife Mary, purchased 13 acres of land and built the Green River Gorge Resort. The resort opened to the public in 1925 and consisted of the hotel, cabins, the “natural" hot tubs and a nearby gas station named “Jakes Place”.
During the 1970s and 80s it had a reputation as a hippy destination.
