I got monetized on YouTube WITHOUT 4000 Watch Hours

YouTube has recently introduced a new option for small creators like me to earn some money from their videos even if they don't meet the full requirements for the YouTube Partner Program. This option is called partial monetization and it allows you to access some features like Super Chat, Super Stickers, and Channel Memberships.

However, you still need to have at least 3000 watch hours and 1000 subscribers to qualify for partial monetization. And of course, you still need to follow YouTube's policies and guidelines.

So, how did I get partial monetization? Well, I applied for it as soon as I reached 3000 watch hours and 1000 subscribers. It took about a week for YouTube to review my channel and approve it. Then, I was able to enable Super Chat, Super Stickers, and Channel Memberships on my live streams and videos. I was also able to see some analytics on how much money I was making from these features. Now, I know what you're thinking. Is partial monetization worth it? Does it make a big difference in your income? Well, the answer is: it depends. Partial monetization is not a substitute for full monetization. You still need to reach 4000 watch hours and 1000 subscribers to be able to monetize your videos with ads and get access to more features like YouTube Premium revenue and Merchandise shelf. Partial monetization is more like a bonus or a reward for your hard work and dedication. It can help you grow your channel faster and motivate you to keep creating quality content. It can also help you connect with your audience better and build a loyal fan base. But, it's not going to make you rich overnight. You still need to be consistent, creative, and strategic with your content strategy. You still need to optimize your videos for SEO, engagement, and retention. You still need to promote your channel on social media and other platforms. And most importantly, you still need to enjoy what you're doing and have fun with it.
