This can be adjusted to say it doesn't matter what degree you have, it doesn't matter what your study says. If i the study doesn't agree with reality, it's wrong.

A study is simply a tool to help us describe the world around us, but not the only one. However, if that study runs counter to the observed phenomena, it's wrong.

While studies can be useful, they are no substitution for hard laws of biology, a hard science unlike nutrition, such as adaptation. Always remember that when dealing with people who don't understand the principles of biology.
