Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is “very keen” to have some legacy after the failure of the Voice referendum, says PR Counsel Managing Director Kristy McSweeney.
Ms McSweeney says Mr Albanese is going to “invoke the great legacy of Gough Whitlam” by going to China.
The Prime Minister is set to visit China from November 4th to November 7th.
“That’s where I think we’re going to see his messaging and his speech notes,” Ms McSweeney told Sky News host Steve Price.
“We know the delicate balancing act and particularly that delicate balancing act that the Labor Party and the left faction dominated Labor Party in Western Australia has progressed with over the last decade or so in terms of how we speak about China.”
