Battlefield 2042 is tasking players to gear up and face their fears in the Dark Protocol Event. The Boreas facility has been overrun by its own AI-controlled synthetic soldiers called the Geists. Fight them off or take control of up to 40 Geists for your team in the new limited-time game mode Killswitch. This new 12v12 mode tasks players with securing nodes to score points while fending off enemy Geists in a horde-style gameplay.
