Many people still think bigger exhaust pipes are better but the truth is bigger will hurt your performance on street vehicles, bigger exhaust pipes will slow down the exhaust velocity which in turn hurts cylinder scavenging. Running too big of an exhaust pipe will hurt your low end torque and midrange torque.
