I'm In My Era of...

We moved into the house that my husband's grandparents built almost 100 years ago. When they built it, it had no running water, no electricity, and no bathroom. A screened in porch was later walled off and they put in a single bathroom and had electricity retroactively put in.

His grandmother (Mamaw) died before we ever met, but I think she'd love the life we're pursuing and would be thrilled that family moved back into her old house. It warms my heart every day to raise our family in the same house his father was raised in. I think she'd be proud of the era we're in right now.
