Behold, Your House is Left unto You Desolate

Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
The people have turned from Jesus Christ, refusing to believe that He is the Messiah, the long awaited anointed One, that the Jews have been waiting for. Jesus Christ tells them that their house is desolate –it is empty, it has been abandoned by the LORD God.
Even today, people’s houses are desolate. They have a lack of knowledge about Jesus Christ. They have a distinct lack of fear of the LORD.
