Reign of Pepper X: The World's Hottest Pepper

Pepper X is the world's hottest pepper, measuring 3.18 million Scoville Heat Units (SHUs). It is three times hotter than the Carolina Reaper, the previous record holder. Pepper X was created by Ed Curry, the creator of the Carolina Reaper. Curry says he was motivated to create Pepper X because he wanted to make a scorching pepper that also had a sweet flavor.
