Grand Rapids and Kent County are receiving a significant boost

HUD's Michael Polsinelli presented a $2.5 million check to Kent County and a $6.6 million check to the city of Grand Rapids. The funds will be utilized to address lead-based paint hazards in 180 homes in Grand Rapids and support 40 individuals or businesses in obtaining lead abatement supervisor certifications.
