The Big Cat (1949) Colorized Classic Action Drama Full Movie

The Big Cat (1949) American action full length movie. Directed by Phil Karlson starring Preston Foster, Lon McAllister, Forrest Tucker, Peggy Ann Garner, Irving Bacon, Sara Haden, Skip Homeier and Gene Reynolds.

Set during the Great Depression, a young man goes into the high country where his mother was born in hopes of finding work. What he discovers are bitter resentments and a land plagued with drought. The drought during the 1930s forces a large cougar to come down from the high country in Utah to prey on farmers' cattle. This has prompted many farmers to pursue and kill the cat, but so far all have failed.
