85-thousand immigrant children are missing…somewhere in the USA…and nobody on the Biden team seems to know or care where they went?
That’s how the tragedy looks from here. And we don’t know whether to laugh, sleep, or cry.
So, what happens when you bring some of the Biden Administration’s top immigration experts into a hearing room and let Republican Senators John Kennedy and Marsha Blackburn ask a few questions?
Nothing. Nothing happens. Minutes of total silence. And when one of Joe Biden’s best and brightest finally did summon the nerve to stutter and stammer, she replaced silence with ignorance.
It was as dark day on Capitol Hill when Senator Kennedy placed some simple queries to the panel… representing the Departments of State, Homeland Security, Health and Human Services, and Labor. It reminded one of a 9th grade Civics class. Senator Kennedy allowed any of the four witnesses to raise their hands, answer some simple questions, and show off their brilliance…but none rose to the bait.
Kennedy asked how many non-citizens have entered America illegally during the Biden term. No response from the panel, so Kennedy supplied the answer for them…8 million border crossers, the equivalent of FOUR Nebraskas. And no one could say how many of that 8 million total are children.
In a separate hearing, Senator Blackburn provided that answer. 85-thousand missing refugee children are out there…somewhere in the USA, and she pressed that painful point to the Director of Refugee Resettlement. How do you misplace 85-thousand kids? No answer. Blackburn said the FBI did not do its job in vetting those sponsors who claimed the children and that the system meant to protect them is broken. She warned that many of those innocents are likely in unsafe hands. But again, we don’t know.
It looks to us like Biden’s best and brightest can’t touch Trump’s second stringers…and open borders are a total failure.
