Electric vehicles are Tesla's bread and butter, and they have proven the company's dominance time and time again. In contrast, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has shown little interest in a rapidly growing segment of energy-efficient vehicles, battery-powered motorcycles, and scooters. The reason is that Musk says a near-fatal motorbike accident in his youth has turned him off two-wheelers. Although for now, battery-powered bikes aren't readily available, the manufacturing of them is expanding and consolidating, so over the next few years it is likely that some company will emerge as a dominant player. So, what are the chances of Musk building an electric motorcycle? In that case, what will it look like?
