BLUE STAR DONATIONS: THE SUN IS GOING TO FLIP

The Sun’s magnetic field is about to flip, according to a recent announcement by the National Solar Observatory (NSO). The Sun’s magnetic field flips approximately every 11 years following the solar cycle progressions. The magnetic field reversal is the major hallmark event that signals the end of a solar cycle’s maximum period and ushers in the transition to a minimum. After the reversal, the newly established polar field will determine the strength of the next solar cycle.
