These huge industries did not plan for the drop in the skilled workforce and certainly did not plan on the DIY market doing so well. Companies like Simplisafe, Arlo and Ring are making a mockery of the industry by selling substandard products at high profit margins and have caught the security giants off guard. I saw this coming. If these large companies do not change their business model, they will be done.
