Hasidic ad || A "dairy meal" that'll make you so hungry!

Further in my collection of Hasidic ads... this one is posted here only because the food is so good to look at. Mmmm! This is an ad for a hotel, but they show the traditional Shavuos "dairy meal". Shavuos, traditionally, is celebrated with a dairy meal. Holiday meals are always meat-centric, and because milk and meat can't be mixed, there's generally nothing dairy in the holiday meals. For Shavuos, however, there is an entire meal that's SPECIFICALLY dairy. And to really take advantage of this rare moment of being allowed to use milk, sour cream, cheese, and more for a major festive meal, the most decadent dairy desserts are made!

This hotel gives you just a glimpse of what they offer their patrons for the Shavuos holiday: kreplach, delkelach, cheesecake, dairy roll cake with thick buttery cream, sweet iced coffee that's made with ice cream and so much more. The man shown here intends to eat the meal only within his diet, but then he realizes the effort is futile because these rich dairy things are so so so very good!
