The most recent combat reports state that from their native Ha Asara, Eres Niram, and Fait Hanum, Israeli armored brigades and Merkava tanks are relentlessly attacking Gaza on the ground. Clashes in these settlements have escalated dramatically after the IDF chose to extend its ground offensive operations on October 27 eastward of Gaza. To the southeast of Gaza, Israeli forces are also conducting heavy air and ground attacks on the settlement of Kafar Aza.
