Orthodox Jewish hats have so much symbolism in them. This is true in the Orthodox community I give tours in, Hasidic Williamsburg, where both women's headgear and men's hats have a lot of nuanced symbolisms that signify different sect affiliations, degrees of religiosity, style, and more. This fantastic clip looks at some of the different hats of Jerusalem and what they mean.
