Tel Aviv is viewing the recent missile attack carried out by Hezbollah as an escalation in its operations. The two Burkan-type missiles used by the organization have a range of 10 kilometers and carry explosive warheads weighing between 100 kilograms and 500 kilograms. According to the Hebrew newspaper Hadashot Hamot, this marks the most significant bombing operation with heavy missiles since the beginning of the recent events.

Roya's correspondent reported that the occupation artillery targeted the outskirts of Blida, Muhaybib, Mays al-Jabal, Hula, Markaba, and Wadi Hunine in southern Lebanon. Hezbollah announced that it had targeted a number of occupation army positions with missiles and appropriate weapons. These sites included Jal al-Alam, al-Jardah, Hadab al-Bustan, al-Malikiyah, and al-Metulla, resulting in direct casualties and the destruction of technical equipment.
