A stray cat with scabies treated and one of our fastest adoptions!

Showing another aspect of our work - when other people rescue kittens or cats - or have them dumped at their house - sometimes they come to us for help. Whether it is trying to seek out veterinary treatment at discount for injuries, or more routine treatments for worming, scabies or chlamydia - we try to help as much as possible. Rescuers, other cat lovers, even school children bringing strays from their school with scabies, for example.

The second part is just showing a rescue from last night which turned out to be one of the three fastest rescue to adoptions. I spotted this little girl mooching around in the darkness at the local dump 2 nights ago - and despite being desperate and approaching me at first - fear got the better of her. After and hour and a half, I could not coax her back our of where she had taken refuge. Next day, one of the local farmers had caught her, and held onto her until I came by. Only hours later, she was spotted by one of our customers who fell in love with her...... she has already found her adopter! Only 20 hours after I first saw her.

The last part - makeshift 'shelters' at the local dumps for the wet season - rough, ready and makeshift only - hopefully some kittens might get shelter when dumped from the torrential rain until we find and rescue them. I had to print a warning message to try to have them left alone - we will see if they are left undisturbed..... they are in no-ones way!
