Ukraine troops rescue comrade from Russian attack carrying him through river and swamp

Ukrainian troops attacked Russian lines across the Dnipro River. Footage shows marines crossing the waterway near Krynky, a small town just upriver of Kozachi Laheri, where they crossed earlier in the summer, driving Russian forces out of the area. Video shows marines making the crossing in small boats before advancing through a swamp under Russian fire. Ukraine has been establishing multiple bridgeheads across the Dnipro River, fuelling rumours they are preparing a larger attack. If successful, such an attack would bypass Russian defences that are currently blocking the road to Crimea. But attacking across a wide river is also extremely risky.
