By decentralizing the entire voting process and recording all votes on an immutable distributed ledger, we could eliminate many of the issues that plague current voting methods like fraud, manipulation, and lack of transparency. Blockchain voting would enable anyone to verify that their vote was counted accurately and ensure that no votes were changed or omitted. It could increase trust in the electoral process by giving voters complete visibility into how their ballots were recorded and tabulated.
