The only way to join the Foreign Legion is to travel to mainland France in Europe and knock on the door of one of the Foreign Legion recruiting centers and offices. The first contract you sign is mandatory for 5 years. Selection or recruitment is still open and running 24-7 and 365 days from all over the world. If successful you may be asked why you joined the legion, and your answer will be to forget. When asked to forget what, you will answer that you do not know you have forgotten.
