spider releases butterfly from it's web. but why?

when the tiger butterfly Parthenos sylvia was a caterpillar, it ate the leaves of poisonous plants of the genus Adenia - and now produces its own toxin that protects it from predators.
this species of butterfly inhabits India, Sri Lanka and Southeast Asia (Myanmar, Malaysia, the Philippines and New Guinea)
